BREAKING: DAESH SCORES MAJOR ADVANCE IN SOUTHEAST DEIR EZZOR

BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:20 A.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) launched another massive attack last night that targeted the last positions of the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) along the Iraqi border-crossing near the Baghouz Mountain.  

The terrorist group was able to overpower the Syrian Democratic Forces near the recently captured town of Al-Bahra, paving the way for a new advance near the village of Al-Gharanj in southeastern Deir Ezzor. 

According to a new report from the Deir Ezzor front, the Daesh terrorists are now on the fringes of Al-Gharanj as the Syrian Democratic Forces continue to retreat further along the eastern bank of the Euphrates River. 

Should Daesh capture Al-Gharanj, this could spell trouble for the U.S. Coalition troops that are trying fend off the terrorist group’s massive advance in southeast Deir Ezzor. 

The U.S. Coalition has provided air cover to the Syrian Democratic Forces; however, Daesh continues to advance against the Kurdish-led troops.
