SYRIAN MILITARY KILLS ONE OF THE HIGHEST RANKING ISIS COMMANDERS IN SYRIA
BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:20 A.M.) – The Syrian military killed a high ranking Islamic State (ISIS) commander this weekend while continuing their field operations in the Al-Sweida Governorate of southern Syria.
According to a Syrian military report, their air force struck a major Islamic State hideout this weekend in the Al-Safa region, killing and wounding scores of terrorists.

The report said that the Syrian Air Force managed to killed one of the highest ranking Islamic State commanders after striking the terrorist group’s hideout in the Al-Hasa area of Al-Safa.
The terrorist commander was identified as Ahmad Al-Motlaq; he was considered the Islamic State’s primary leader in southern Syria before his death this weekend.
Al-Motlaq was also killed alongside 4 of his bodyguards, the report added.
The Syrian military has recently intensified their assault in southern Syria, as they look to eliminate the last remnants of the Islamic State in this region of the country.
